March 2005

3-6-2005
Prayer
Officers Role Call
District Deputy is present: Harry Harvey.
Absent: Tom, Ricardo, Frank,
Opening Ode
Blitz video
Reading of minutes not read.

Membership Blitz – hovering on 30 member line right now. Need new members! Suggested to bring in someone and “sponsor” them is one suggestion.

Dist Dep thinks 25 percent of new members showing up for meetings is a realistic goal. Also do not forget the older group of parishioners, as younger members seem to be busier.

1st Degree in April – April 17th is best date, or 10th is another potential date.  2pm or 7pm.

Question on voting, what goes to council for a vote? Usually expenditures that are not in the approved budget at the beginning of the year. (Offices should create a budget and present it to the council for approval.)  Council should also vote on new memberships to approve applications.

New podiums are done. Thanks to Billy Elerthorpe and Dennis!

Dennis working with Father about a Mass for the Knights of Columbus Intention.

March 29th is Founders Day. No action will be taken

435 is checking, balance. Some minor expenditures are pending.

May do picnic in Summer for all local councils.

4th Degree Report: Exemplification is April 23rd in Grants Pass.

District Dep – we all have responsibility to bring more people into Membership. We need to talk Insurance with the younger potential members. Thought our dinner was great idea.

Good of the Order – Brothers we will keep in our prayers for improved health and safety: Frank Fasarella, Tom Spellman, Bruce Strauman, Brian Moyer.
